Is it free?
Yes, the counter and ranking participation are completely free.
Does the counter slow down my site?
No. The script is tiny (under 1 KB), loads asynchronously and does not delay page rendering.
How is a “visitor” counted?
A visitor is a unique user within a day (IP + browser, hashed for one day). A visit (session) is a visitor's activity without a pause longer than 30 minutes. Weekly and monthly figures are sums of daily numbers. A “page view” is every page load.
Can I hide my site from the ranking?
Yes: turn off “public ranking” in the site settings — only you will see the statistics.
Why can’t I add my domain?
The domain may already be verified on another account. If the site is yours, write to us and we will help.
How is site ownership verified?
The system checks that your site’s page really contains the counter code with your site number. Faking hits from another domain will not activate a site.
